The banners will be displayed every November to honor our veterans and active‑duty service members. Thanks to our city crew, they’ll fly throughout the month.
These banners make great gifts for Father’s Day, Mother’s Day, birthdays, Christmas, or any occasion.
Each banner features two sides. If you want relatives—such as siblings or parent/child—on opposite sides, just note it on the application.
Banners will be placed on light poles along 11th Street, Willow and Patterson heading into downtown, as well as 7th and 10th Streets around the downtown area.
Placement will be at the city’s discretion.
The banners are built to last. If one is damaged, we expect to have funds to replace it at no cost to you, thanks to generous donors.
After the first year, the banners will be included in the Coffeyville Area Foundation Match Day Fund. The Coffeyville Military Banners program operates through the Coffeyville Area Foundation as a nonprofit 501(c)(3).
Special distinctions such as KIA, MIA, or POW can be added next to the years of service.
Banners measure 2 feet wide by 5.5 feet tall.
A digital photo is preferred but not required. If you want your photo returned, please include a return address.
On the application:
“Name of applicant” is the person paying for the banner.
“Veteran’s name” is the person who will appear on the banner.
